Impossible to get a hold of someone. Takes 20+ minutes on hold most times. They denied giving me my 10-day loan-payoff information over the phone. Literally gave me an answer equivalent of "no." by telling me that "that information is unavailable right now" without elaborating on if it is a system issue.

I've been with American credit Union for close to 20 years now. Alma, Patrick and Omar are great people. I never had issues with anybody in office and are of course very professional. I understand rules and regulations to bank policies what's your frustrating but overall the credit union seems to be working really great for me.
Worst experience I have ever had, they signed me up for overcharge fees when I explicitly declined. Led to them removing all the money from my account whilst charging an ungodly amount of fees. Don't open an account unless you're willing to put the fate of your finances/credit score in the hands of sheer incompetence EDIT: It’s been like six years later and these animals are still contacting me for more money, it’s still effecting my credit to this day AVOID
