Chris has been great to work with on multiple occasions. Great service, rates and online service. The customer service reps have been friendly and prompt to get my needs taken care of.
I appreciate the friendly staff and service at First Farmers Bank & Trust, but I find the business hours to be very inconvenient. The bank closes at 4 PM Monday through Thursday and only stays open until 5 PM on Fridays. For many working people and businesses, especially those on a standard first-shift schedule who finish work at 5 PM. These hours make it nearly impossible to visit the bank without taking time off. My husband and I had a great experience with Chelsea Johanning. Our loan process was very smooth. Chelsea answered all of our questions throughout the process. Our situation was a bit different than normal, but she knew exactly what we needed and was able to help us.
We've been using various branches of FFBT for about 10 years, but a few months ago I had the worst experience I've ever had at a bank at this location. When I talked to the manager, she kept apologizing that I "felt like [I'd] been mistreated." She never actually apologized for the incident. It doesn't seem much like an apology if you don't take responsibility for the wrong. I still can't bring myself to use this location again. Very poor customer service. Can't imagine how they treat new people.
