In 1969 they opened up their charter to include the employees for the city of Oak Creek, Wisconsin and changed their name to SMOC Credit Union. Great credit union. Free checking, low share deposit, and good bonus perks for new members. Co-Op membership is a huge plus. The mobile app is better than any other credit union I use, rivaling huge institutions like Chase. In app Zelle functionality would be nice, maybe in a future update. Instant issue debit cards and aesthetic designs are available. I highly recommend to my friends and family who are looking for a credit union.
