First Community has the largest membership of all credit unions in North Dakota, with a field of membership that covers over a third of the state and into Western Minnesota. I get to the credit union on an average of a couple times a week due to my business. I used to go to the one in Bismarck and then when they built the new business over in Mandan, I followed them to Mandan. Jess and Sierra are wonderful young ladies I enjoy visiting with them when I am cashing my checks. They are always so helpful to make sure that I get the stuff I need and they have gone above and beyond at times for me. And my business. Being near to this credit union I stopped to pick up two rolls of quarters. The clerk asked if I was a member, I am not. She informed me that she could only give change to members and most banks do the same. I was surprised since the previous times at this location there was not an issue, nor has there been at any other institutions also in my ATM network. So be it, I was taken care of at another branch.
