We switched to First Community years and years ago and have been very happy with our choice. The perks such as ATM fee refunds, interest paying checking, and being open on weekends at our location in Wentzville have been a huge plus. They have always been extremely friendly and nice (despite having to work in a Wal-Mart each and every day).
We have experienced long wait times and service from staff is unfriendly most days. Thinking of changing our bank due to this. How can banks treat you so poorly when you are placing your money in them? It boggles the mind!
Love most of the employees....But, I can't seem to get any help in the loans department....I have to deal with car loans, RV Loans and credit with other Credit Unions. I wanted to go with one Credit Union. If OCCU or Advantis comes to Roseburg I may change my business....
should get less than 1 star. worse than having no bank account period. they repeatadly refuse to honor valid and legitimate checks made out to me. the latest was a policy refund check from an old auro insurance policy for less than $80. i have full proof of identification and have banked with 1st comm since long before the change from good ol' SOFCU. I got a seven digit acct #!! and the check came with a company pgone # to call for verification. thier "policy" is to not accept checks over 6 months old. mine was forgotten in ... read more
I was at this branch yesterday deposited a check and the teller put it in somebody elses account didn't notice till I got out to car had to go back in there what kind of bank does this
This bank is a joke, they do so little for their members. If you bank here you can expect nothing in return. Over the last 5 years they have had 2,353 members file for bankruptcy (ncua.gov) , so they are great at helping customers manage money... NOT!!! The lending office has no parameters and does not care if you have a relationship with their bank, I am moving some where that values my business and I would encourage you to do the same!!!!
This is stupid. I try to sign using facebook, and there is no way to find my accounts. This is a ridiculous way to run a business.
