Refused to break a twenty dollar bill because I don't bank with them. If there was ever a chance I would, they flushed that chance down the toilet. There is absolutely no logical reason I can think of for them refusing to break a lousy $20. Are they worried it might be counterfeit? Then they should have tools in place (like most banks and even some retailers), to make sure the bill is legit. I love banking at this credit union. Everyone is very nice & very professional & they value my business. I moved here 6 months ago from Brookings.
I'm a local Realtor and have clients that just completed a purchase using Bonnie and First CCU as their lender. Bonnie and First CCU were great to work with; they handled everything with care and were able to close a complicated purchase on time without any issues. They also have the flexibility to handle decisions in house which was important with this particular situation. I'd be happy to work with them again!
Would not sell me quarters even if I brought cash in cause I don't bank through them.
Be with them for 20 plus years, and only one complaint in all that time was one time their drive throughachine was not operating. The tellers are always friendly and quick to care for my needs. I have met with loan staff and other management staff, and they were just as helpful. I Gove them a big A+.
