2 car loans paid through First City Credit Union. I am an essential federal employee and called at the very beginning of the government shutdown to inform First City that I wouldn’t be getting paid for as long as the government was down. I was told “we will proceed with whatever means necessary if you fail to make a payment”. SMH. 🤦♀️
This financial institution appears to be a little shady. I recently requested a named change as I got married. Congratulations to me; I did send in the necessary documents, marriage certificate i.e. updated drivers license. I was contacted three times by three different representatives requesting the same information this place definitely lacks communication. BEWARE!!! I bought a car several years back which was financed with First City Credit Union. During the term of the loan I had fallen behind at one point. Be careful to never do this. If you ever have to talk to any of their staff that handles late payments, be prepared to become very agitated with their disrespectful attitude. They pissed me off so bad I pulled savings from an IRA and payed off the car so I didn't have to deal with this Bank ever again. They have no appreciation for their customers.
