As a business owner (dental center), we transferred to FCB from Farmers and Merchants Bank about two years ago. For years, we honestly thought F&M was a professional bank. We were terribly in error! Our CPA referred us to FCB and it was outstanding advice. They are a true business bank and their quality staff represent that. I don't recommend First Citizen Banks for small business, restaurant, coffee shops, bars, dry cleanings, or any type of business with a lot of daily transactions : Pros : 1-The bank staff at the branch are polite. 2-The Newport Branch has a nice lobby area. 3-There is no wait time at the branch. Cons : 1-It is a very conservative and restricted bank, 2-It does not offer a of products different than bigger banks 3-it doesn't have a lot of branches 4- it is closed on Saturdays an Sundays. 5-The online or phone customer service... read more
