THIS BANK, when my son passed away FROZE money that was due him from SSA for over 2 months claiming that SSA was going to take it back when in fact money that they wanted to get back they did within 3 days of the first of the month. In addition we have been with First Citizens for a VERY VERY LONG TIME and have numerous times tried to get them to become a sponsor for our 501c3 event for Special Needs Adults and CHILDREN. Have to agree with other reviewers. Terrible customer service. I needed to close out a safe deposit box for an estate. I requested a time later in the day since I was traveling from out of town. They would not make an appointment becasue the only banker that could do it that day wanted to leave work early before a holiday.
