I have been banking with First Bank for 30 years but I am leaving. Their App is absolutely the worst I've ever had the displeasure of using. Customer service is no longer a thing. They don't want to keep actually branches or tellers but can't invest in an online system that actually works. I'm fed up and leaving. Good riddance to bad rubbish. I'm not paying for a company to treat me like trash. I'm leaving and you should too.
My husband and I walk into the bank to do our banking and I am denied use of a restroom! Last time I was here I sat in the drive through with no one helping me until I pulled around and went inside. Very poor customer care. We will be moving our money after 15 years.
Every aspect of being a customer at FirstBank gets worse year after year.. since about a decade ago. The app has gotten so bad, I can't even use it.. and that pales in comparison to the in-person decline. Now the physical banks are just a lobby with a bunch of used car salesmen standing around playing on their phones and they'll just point you to an ATM where someone video calls with you about how to make a deposit. Horrible bank
Be prepared to spend 30+ minutes in the bank just to deposit a check because First Bank won’t employ enough people to appropriately operate a bank.
