I don’t currently bank with First Bank of the Lake but had dialed in inquiring about an SBA loan and spoke with Erik F. To say that he was helpful and professional would be a gross understatement. He went above and beyond in getting me the information I needed, guiding me through my questions, and just being helpful in general throughout the conversation. Definitely made a great first impression and would recommend speaking to him for your SBA needs.
Great bank with very friendly staff. But if you ever want immeadiat access to your money dont bank here. I was out of town and needed more than the allowed $1500.00 and was treated like a child. It is absolutely ridiculous to prevent access to my money. Switching banks immediately when I return home.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with First Bank of the Lake has been so disappointing that I feel others should know. I opened a CD with them back in December, and from the start, the representative handling my account was uninformed and made countless careless errors on my paperwork, including listing my parents' address instead of mine, stating my occupation as a Mediocre Advsior as opposed to Medicare Advisor (although that mistake did make me laugh pretty hard), and listing the wrong name for the benef... read more
