I've been on other fishing charters before in this area BUT Capt. Steve has to been the best there is. We caught fish, but that's not the best part: Capt. Steve is a warm, friendly, encouraging, positive guy who knows how to make people enjoy the experience. I wouldn't hesitate to take his boat again, because he made the experience so damn fun. We had an amazing charter with Captain Steve on Fire Island Fishing Charters. Super family friendly - our 3 and 8 year olds had a blast and Captain Steve was a great and accommodating host. He was flexible and steered us clear of rain but when we got doused, he had rain jackets prepared for our little ones. More importantly, we caught some delicious fluke to eat that night. Looking forward to our next charter with Steve.

Captain Steve is an incredible captain and Fire Island Fishing Charters is the best experience you could have in the Long Island area. Captain Steve knows the best spots to catch fish along with an incredible knowledge of the Great South Bay and surrounding area. If you want to catch fish, have fun, and enjoy your day on the water, this is who you should book. Without a doubt I will be booking more trips through him and look forward to being back out on the water soon.
