This place is past its prime. We paid more than we would have at Dollywood Splash Country, and I had to pay a resort fee AND a transaction fee per person. There was trash littered under various rides, the wait time for food and drinks was long, and many of the facilities were well worn or closed down entirely. Luckily I was able to use the educator discount, but on average we paid $60 per person. My kids had a blast on the new water slides, but overall, it seems like it needs a little TLC (and some yellow jacket control).
We had a genuinely good time here. The park was clean, well-maintained, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. If it weren’t for one major issue, this would’ve been a 5-star visit. The bees were relentless. Set a drink down for two minutes and you’d have three or four bees on it. They were swarming the wave pool, the snack areas, pretty much anywhere food or sugar was involved. I'd give 2.5 out of 5 stars. It really could be great, but it's just meh. It is run by a bunch of teenagers that really don't seem to care. I get it, but if a park wants to charge 300 dollars a day to get some shade, then I expect 300 dollar a day service. And every single year something else has been removed. I also don't understand why people cannot swim in the deep end of the pool. This has been going on for a few years, but I don't get it. Also, the lake is cut off and the obstacle course is gone. Just feels like it is t... read more
You have to book more than 24 hrs in advance online or the price goes up at checkout to $60. They did give me the discount when I asked and explained. The park is decent and the rides are fun. Lines weren’t too long. It is looking a little run down and there is trash all around. They need to spread out about 25 trash cans for people to use. 1x visit every 3-5 years probably enough.
As of July 8, 2026, the beach was completely CLOSED. Visitors could access the sand but not the water. Consequently, there is no floating obstacle course either. We used to really enjoy coming here, but it isn't what it used to be.
