The best alternative to chain stores!! I've been frequenting this record store for years and I keep going back. They have both new and used CDs for sale as well as DVDs, vinyls, tshirts, posters, magazines and other entertainment memorabilia. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the employees are very knowledgable when it comes to music, and not just what is on the radio. Fantastic This Long Beach music store specializes in space rock, a genre of experimental music that is a combination of 70s psychedelic and progressive music. It also sells a good selection of indie releases as well as electronica, jazz, rap and more. It also hosts live shows - past acts have included the Long Beach Dub All-Stars and Patti Smith.

Superb For many years I have shopped at Fingerprints to buy both new and used CDs, as there is always a grand selection to chose from. There has never been a time that I have walked out empty handed because of the vast selection of various genres. Whenever a new import has been released, I have phoned the store to request a copy and within two days, I arrived for pick up.
