I purchased a beige genuine leather sofa from Macy’s a few years ago. At the time of purchase, I was encouraged by the sales associate to purchase the insurance/protection plan. She explained that if anything happened to the sofa, the insurance would cover it. Unfortunately, during the second year, the color of the leather began to change. Everybody is trying to make a dollar off you and will not leave you alone. The furniture isn’t even that good to be charging those prices. They think they are selling imported couches like a Larry June album. It ain’t worth it, avoid at all costs. The sales people are definitely incentivize to make as much money off you as possible, and they will bother the shit out of you.
