Do NOT, and I mean do NOT, agree to a payment plan and give them your bank account information. Don't use a check to pay them, or in anyway let them find out what your banking information is. They will go behind your back and empty your bank account! My daughter fell behind on a credit card after she lost her job and it went into default. These clowns managed to get a judgement after "serving" her at a house she hadn't lived at in years. When she found out about it, she entered into a repayment agreement.
