Never apply to work there. I applied for a job as catering assistant. I had the interview for catering assistant. When it came for the induction "they" decided to put me into an AIN Position due to my background. No contract, no paperwork for TFN etc. Totally unprofessional and unethical.Extremely poor communication in the initial stages I was chasing the position ..... manual handling room stunk of urine. Just a bad vibe all over. Wasted over a week of my time when I could be secured employment elsewhere.

My father in law lived at Figtree for 6 months before his passing. He was in a large room with a side view of the lake. Fridge, Microwave, TV and Recliner Chair were included in his room. He loved the food and especially the deserts. So compliments to the Chef. The Nurses and Carers were amazing. They were friendly and always willing to do anything extra to make his stay comfortable. This is not a complaint against the Nursing Home but it is a complaint about one of the young Nurses (an Indian Nurse who had a broken rear car window). She had a broken rear window yesterday afternoon and I had just returned home before my Gardners showed up (I live on Harris Street as well), when I saw my Gardeners talking to this Nurse I came out to find out what was going on and I (had no idea about the broken window, I didn't even know what car it was but she seemed to dislike me from the start and was very unpleasant (... read more
