I flew in from Los angeles to visit my almamater DU and ended up in the 80s, how is that possible . When I saw the outside of this store, I was so excited. Stepping into the store I did not expect to be whisked back in time by the smell of old baseball card pack bubble gum. This place was awesome! We were going to a different store and saw this gem and had to go in! So much nostalgia here, and things aren't crazy expensive like at other shops. Weill definitely come back to see what new/old things they have!
The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because of how the woman working today treated my child and I. Less than one minute within walking into the store she approached us and stated to “not touch anything but to have fun”. This wouldn’t have been a problem, however I noticed she didn’t say this to any other costumers who entered and there were plenty of signs throughout the store with that exact reminder. Easily, undoubtedly, one of the best stores in Denver. I’ve been here many times and it never gets old.(only makes you feel old. Haha) if I could give this store 50 stars, I would. The staff is extremely kind, helpful and friendly as well.
