Got an offer in the mail to open an account and get $600. Went in, opened the account. I was given a printout page with the routing and account number. Once I made the account I waited to meet the 5,000 deposit amount necessary for the $600 bonus. However, they said my deposits have been going to a saving account not a checking account so I don't get the bonus. I do not leave bad reviews. Disappointing experience while seeking information about transferring my son's disability account. Upon arrival, I inquired about opening a rep-payee account, as this is where his disability money is deposited. The staff member at the front desk was unsure and had to consult with the supervising banker. He then asked if I was interested in an ABLE account. I opened a business account three weeks ago, provided all my documents and credentials, told I was all good by Branch Manager, Marsha Paschal-Martin. On 3/6/25 I went in for a withdrawal and was told they were unable to release funds with no explanation why. The branch called corporate and they were unable to tell me why they were unable to release my funds.
