From out of state and I come to Florida for part of the year. This bank makes me come in when I need to cash a check. I'm handicap so this means parking and walking in with my cane. I worry about falling but the manager and people that work there don't seem to care. They just say have a nice day when I tell them it's an inconvenience. They gladly take my direct deposited checks but they don't want to let me get the money back out. Looking into taking all my money and moving it to another bank. Worst bank institute!!! They hold your checks for days and give u inaccurate information about when the money will deposit.
I'm not sure what they do here but every time I see a CSR they can't help. I went for an address change and to increase my withdrawal limit at the ATM and they couldn't do either. Today after calling several times for an issue and waiting over 15 minutes I was forwarded to a voice mail that no one would answer. So I went directly to the bank. Surprise, Surprise she couldn't help either. I awoke to the bank removing $240 I had just deposited to pay a loan that I wasn't behind on. The payments were $20 a month but no one could... read more
My mortgage is with 5/3. I have a decent credit score and wanted to take a HELOC against my current home so I may buy a smaller home before I sell my current home. 5/3 required EXTENSIVE documentation; they approved only 25% of the amount I was seeking! Their underwriting standards make no sense; they look only at monthly income, not assets. I urge you to look elsewhere for ANY home-related loans.
Please do not do business with this bank. If you write a contractor a check, they want you to open up an account to cash the check plus charge a 2% fee.
