I stop using this bank years ago. Maybe over a decade? Can't quite remember due to the rude staff. I thought ok isolated incident I'll just go to a real bank and transferred everything to another bank with better customer service. Now my mother has been using this bank for decades, home loans, loans, car loans, just about every thing. She goes into this branch since she lives in the area just to get some money out. They will not cash a check written from their own bank unless the recipient also has an account with them or pays a 2% fee. Take your business to another bank.
Been a customer here all my life. I tried to cash a large cashier check at the drive thru…told i needed to come inside…did that and once inside told me she couldn’t cash it. It would have to clear first and that all the other banks would tell me the same thing. She was wrong bc WesBanCo - my new bank - took care of me no problems or questions asked! Teller at Wesbanco was very kind and professional and knowledgeable!!!!
