I’ve been a customer with Fifth Third Bank for years, but after this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering. I have a deposit box that I renew annually, every single year without fail. Now, out of nowhere, they are claiming that I haven’t paid for five years and are trying to charge me hundreds of dollars in back fees! Came in the branch and one of the associates gave me coin wrappers to roll some change I had on me. The branch manager David Poag approached me and told me the bank wouldn’t accept any rolled coins and pushed my belongings off the counter and on the floor and then threatened to beat me up after I bent down to pick my personal items.
