5th/3rd had always gone above and beyond for us. The employees at the branch office, loan officers, security, customer service and even the online(app) banking has been amazing and simple. They always take time to get to know my situation so they can offer me the proper services and the good folks at the branch all know me by name even though I'm not in there very often. The the security department has saved me so much money by catching and stopping purchases that looked like fraud. This is the only bank I'll recommend.
So I go into this branch today and I wanted to cash a $2.00 check. I was told they needed to create a "profile" for me since I had never been there before which I thought was a little strange but I was okay with that until the boy waiting on me asked me for my social security number. I said no,you don't need my social security number you have my ID and that's all you should need. I mean it was only a$2.00 check!!! So he told me I could give him my social or go elsewhere to get the check cashed. So that's exactly what I did!!... read more
These people at this bank don't know math,, 2% of $50.00 is 1.00 not 5.00 so why would I use this bank when they don't even know their math?
