I opened my account at the Carrollwood branch on July 30, 2025 and was told by two employees that my check might be able to be cashed before depositing, depending on the system. The next day, I went to the Wiregrass branch (closer to home) to try. No one would even attempt to run the check — I was told I had to deposit it with no other option. The worst part is that I spoke with at least six employees — half told me Fifth Third does cash checks, the other half said they don’t. This conflicting information is frustrating and ... read more
