It’s very sad when you take a check from your 401k to deposit in your account that you have had for over 20 years and the teller and bank flags your check as fraudulent. Then the bank proceeds to freeze ALL of your assets and puts a $500,000 hold on ALL your accounts for 3 days. This happened to my husband. He went immediately to speak to the bank manager AND provided the promissory note from his 401k and yet she could do nothing for him. Literally the worst bank. I had account for years and closed it cause of the customer service. Tried to deposit a check into my husband's account in my name today after waiting forever (they are so slow here, they could care less about your time) Had the rudest experience with Annette I believe it was, she snuffed me away saying she couldn't do anything to help me.
