Horrible bank. Online banking is very primitive and lacking in features. Online banking is constantly down. I've seen food trucks with better online services and capabilities.
Easily the worst fift third in the are service is always slow, the lines are always long and the new atm machine they put in is always down. Better to go across the street
A fifth third customer wrote me a check on the fifth third account and I took it to the bank and spent 2 1/2 hours being ran around over what they called technicalities. After I did all the running required to get the check cashed they then told me that they were going to charge me hundreds of dollars to cash the check! Needless to say I was not happy ,I voiced my opinion strongly without threatening anyone or screaming as the teller said I did and then they called the police on me! A Fifth Third customer wrote me a check using his Fifth Third checkbook. I took it to one Fifth Third location and they said they would be happy to cash it except they did not have any cash at that location. I then took it to this location and the clerk was extremely rude. He told me "I wouldn't cash this for you even if I felt like it since you're not a customer" He then went on to say that he could actually cash it but he would have to charge me "hundreds of dollars" to cash a $4,000 check.
