I left work early today to catch the bank before they closed at 5pm. I made it there by 4:55pm but was chastised by 3 bank tellers for "waiting until 5pm" to do my business. The lobby was empty except for one other customer and I was done in a few minutes so I don't understand the attitude. If you are open til 5pm, customers should feel entitled to do business until 5pm.
I took time off work to come in this branch & open an account & the guy at counter basically told me to go home & do it. I guess thats the level of customer service I can expect from 5th 3rd. I'll just go to another bank. I just dont understand how any employee from any business can tell any new customer looking to do business, to go home & do it
