Spoke to a banking manager a couple weeks go about a stop payment that was placed on a Social Security payment to my late father's account, trying to get the estate settled and the payment should not have been held. I always tell people THINGS CAN ALWAYS BE WORSE. So... this morning could have ended with handcuffs if I were a younger version of JB. I have commas in my bank account, and an AVAILABLE balance that easily supports my request for a small withdrawal today. Not only did Fifth Third hold me captive for twenty minutes, but the branch manager got involved and refused to give me a fraction of my cash because I told her I was helping a teen buy a car.
