I have been direct depositing to an account for my eight-year-old’s savings for years. I went to Fifth Third to try to access the account and just wanted to find out the account number so I can use the mobile app. Fifth Third lost my son’s savings account and I went to see Elizabeth twice yesterday and it seems like she was offended that I was upset that she couldn’t find the account, and also pretty defensive that I asked for the 800 number. You CAN NOT cancel a check of any kind at 5/3 Bank. They will cash the check even if it fraud; you have to work on getting the money back later, after it is cashed. It appears by reading other reviews you can't stop automatic withdrawals once their started either. UPS lost a cashiers check and the Bank would not stop the check and issue another for 60 days.
