There closing down for a reason
I had a really stressful situation with Fifth Third Bank. There was a fraud/unauthorized transaction on my account, and I couldn’t reach anyone through customer support. I was frustrated and honestly overwhelmed. When I finally got to speak with Tom at the branch, everything changed. He was incredibly supportive, patient, and helpful. Today I went to the bank to deposit my check but when I got there I the worker told me to sign my check because I forgot. but the worker wasn’t explaining it to me in a good way he was very rude and he said what to do but it was really fast that I didn’t understand.but after his “explanation” he said have a good day like he wasn’t trying to help me or like he wasn’t trying to have a customer. Overall he was treating me like I was not a person.This is a horrible bank.
From my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this bank to anyone( specifically the Wheaton branch). To open an account, somedays would take hours to do so. I wanted to open an account and put a beneficiary ( I wrote a name on the piece of paper, so the personal banker wouldn’t make mistake), but she did and I had to sit there for another half of hour while she was trying to fix it, when I complained that is taking so long to fix it, the other personal banker came and instead of apologising he said it is not their fault and I hav... read more
