Horrible Customer Service..Do Not Bank HERE!! I banked at this location for a while and most of the tellers are very friendly. The management at this location may be the worst group of guys I have encountered. I had a problem with my account and it took 3 days of calling and leaving messages for the manager to get absolutely no type of call back. Banking The fifth-third bank in New Albany and Sellersburg in Indiana are very convenient and easy to locate. The are helpful and the on-line banking is very convenient and easy to use. I would recommend this institution to any and everyone.
Do What They Want We are a small volunteer fire department that banks with this bank. When we opened the account we set up the physical address and then the post office address. The reason is that we have 30 firefighters that check the mail box from time to time and where they put the mail is sometimes a mystery! After a few months this bank will change the address back to the physical address so I have to call and get it corrected! Then again they change it to the physical address and I do not get the statements that I need... read more
This branch is wonderful! I recently went into the Fifth Third location in the Kroger off of West Broad street and had a wonderful experience. Not only was the entire staff knowledgeable and helpful, they were extremely nice. They answered my questions quickly and efficiently and the girls made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Excellent Customer Service Karen assisted me and my daughter in opening up a Student Saving Account. Atmosphere was very inviting, friendly, and had a sit-down-and-relax-you're-at-home type of feeling. Would recommend this bank's branch to anyone looking for friendly,efficient customer service provided with a smile.
Horrible customer service Fifth Third is only in business to screw the customer out of as much money as they can. We no longer go there because of the excessive fees at Fifth Third. We pay over $35,000 a year in interest and they still charge us overdraft fees of $37.00 and over the limit fees. Their customer service is way below par!!!
Fast service Nine out of 10 times when I use this bank, I go through the drive through and use the pneumatic tube. The clerks are always very prompt about processing my deposit and even put a dog treat in the tube when I have one of my beasties in the car.
Free Checking and Free Gift Almost always, they have a promotion running with a free giveaway if you start an account with them. Usually it's free checking plus a gift. Hey, every little bit counts! It's a small bank, but the folks there are extremely friendly. If you live in Black Mountain, why not bank there, too?
Banker I am a customer of American Chartered Bank and from what Scott E. tells, He does not seem to be telling the whole story. When the banker would ask you if you owed money, he wasn't asking about just ACB, there asking about any bank because Scott E.'s SSN is put into a program called Chex Systems which lets banks know if a certain person owes any other bank money.
