My recent visit was 10/6/2025 between 4-5pm. The customer service was very dry. They weren't friendly at all. I opened a new account and cashed a check. The teller made me wait for several minutes without a thank you or have a good day. If you're not friendly, why work in customer service?I've been a customer for over 10 years and if this type of service continues, I'm going to switch banks.

I withdrew a $20 bill from the bank after depositing a check. I put the $20 in my car console for a couple of weeks. I later took it into a gas station to use it and they told me at the gas station that it was ACTUALLY A FAKE. I took that $20 bill back to Fifth Third and Jessica Williams scoffed saying that it was impossible and she would not make it right. She embarrassed me in front of other customers saying, "Don't you find it suspicious that you waited two weeks to bring it back in?" 🤢🤮

I had a wonderful experience working with James and the rest of the team at 5/3rd in Ypsi. The team was hospitable, helpful, and understanding to our situation. We came to James in late April/ early May of 2024 with an account that had some issues. I work with an activist organization and our account is almost 10 years old. James was able to help us with all of our questions and concerns! I almost lost $45,000 one time because my identity got hacked and the banker helped me and I didn’t lose anything but sometimes the banker straightening out the mess when I go in and need a banker I usually can get help and they’re always helpful and the tellers are always friendly
