Not so happy with Fifth Third I recently moved to another state and had to set up a new checking account, and went with fifth third. First of all I was told my checking account was free and it is not.. Second the online banking they have is new and has "kinks". I have never been late on my mortgage loan payment and now I have. My mortgage company got my payment 4 days after the "guaranteed paid by date" fifth third had listed on my account. sloppy, thieves I was in to put money in my daughters account that is in college for food and gas. I always spend excessive time in line-30 minutes. the staff is new and not experienced. they made a mistake and gave me too little money back and refused to fix the problem. when i asked for manager, justin murray stated that they were all managers and there was no one else i could talk to. I still yet have to get the issue resolved.
No Food For My Family Liars and Thieves, They tell you how much it is to get out of over draft ,then hold the cash you deposit for three days before it goes in the account so they can get daily overdraft fee.The reciept showed the cash was put in that day? They hold back debit charges for two weeks sometimes.They said that is because the people company that does debit charges doesn't know that it is a 5th third bank charge. Get an Account Manager!!! I already have an account with Fifth Third Bank and I went in to start a savings account. I was assigned to Tracy, who is my account manager. she has been so helpful to me. Whenever there is something to benefit me or to make my money work for me, she is on top of it and she contacts me right away. I love my bank, even more now that I have my Fifth Third Rewards World Card... It is the best!!!

Called to Ask Hours And was told, twice, in very long sentences there was a line and she could not tell me what time they closed during the week until after she put me on hold. Wow. "Six o'clock" would have been so much easier. That's my first impression.
