Mrs Thawardas is not only an amazing 53 employee but a gently kind hearted women. She helped my wife and I when we had some fraudulent activity in our account and did everything she could to get it resolved in the end. She cares for the clients accounts like it was her own.
Worst experience ever, especially at this branch. The bakers need to learn more about their products and the qualifications before they suggest a solution and pull credit on their clients. As soon as we sell our house and no longer have a mortgage with Fifth Third we will be terminating all of our accounts and switching to Regions or US bank where we have other accounts and are much happier with there support, and day to day customer service.
Worst 5/3 bank I have ever been to! Everytime I go I get an attitude from the bank teller who directly told me to my face she doesn’t like to count money. Then why are you working at a position that requires you to do so! I needed to take out a large some of cash and I wanted it in 100$ with the last 200 in 20s. The bank teller rolled her eyes at me when I told her this and said to me she doesn’t want to do that. I’ve banked in Tennessee since 1996 and have never experienced such poor service as I did at Fifth Third Bank’s Brentwood location (1713 Mallory Lane). I came in simply to access my funds, but the branch manager, Thomas Magnant, refused to release my money over a minor discrepancy with my mother’s maiden name. This was due to a simple typo made by the previous banker when they opened my account—part of the name was clearly visible, but Thomas still wouldn’t let me access my own funds. Switched to Fifth Third due to customer service issues at previous bank. Opening account was seamless. Called in to get help with mobile deposit limit. Worker who I spoke with said she would need to talk to someone else but would give me a call back. Over a week later and no call back is extremely disappointing. Hope this type of service is not what I should expect moving forward or it will be a short lived relationship with 5th/3rd.
