My experience with Fifth Third Bank has been extremely frustrating, horrible. I strongly dislike their system and the way they treat customers, especially their repeated and unnecessary interrogation whenever I try to withdraw my own money. Every time I visit a branch to request a withdrawal, I am questioned about why I need the money and what I plan to use it for. This is completely unacceptable. We had our car finance through this bank. We moved to another state and had to renew licence to plate which we’d need a title for. It took us to talk to at least 10 different agents / customer service representatives to get an answer They kept telling us they don’t have it when they indeed do have it. All is to say save yourself some stress and try NOT to do business with the bank.
Went today to open myself a checking account and it was a very good experience. The banker Tracie was very patient, friendly and opened my accounts in no time. The bank is clean, spacious and well maintained.
HORRIBLE! The "banker" couldn't complete my transaction without assistance even when I wrote down exactly what I wanted. Charged me for two cashiers checks. Took almost an hour for a simple transaction. Branch manager was too busy chatting with another branch to help. Terrible experience. Would not recommend.
