Emily was the best I recommend banking here
I have been a 5/3 customer for years and the one time I needed them, they left me hanging and were a major disappointment. I was scammed out of $980. There was two payments of $490. I agreed that the first payment made totally my fault/stupidity . The second payment they made an assumption they should not have. Even one of their service team members agreed with me that $480 should be refunded to me. They didn’t and gave lame answers why they did not. Very disappointing. Money is all they care about.
For whatever reason fifth third is unable to provide adequate security for my bank accounts. I have had 6 account verification requests that I didn’t request. Simple security would have 2 level authentication anytime a new verification request is made that can be approved if I requested it or denied if not. Once I had an automatic deposit transferred out of my account to the penny. No explanation was provided what happened and or how. I should have called the police and had them open an investigation. Non friendly staff, lacks Respect and Patience. Context: Opening a business account with out-of-state partners at 5th/3rd Bank is complex. When an 5th/3rd branch contacted Carmel branch for assistance, the staff member declined immediate help, citing busyness and requesting an appointment, despite the branch not being busy. Based on this experience, we expect the same unhelpful attitude from Fifth Third once the account is open, so we went to another bank where the process was simple and the staff was keen to help.
Trying to say deposit not correct amount because THEIR Machine broke down! Teller said "How much did you give me"?? What kind of bank Teller doesn't pay attention to the deposit slip and number of dollar bills in his hand!
