Poorly run bank. I deposited two checks from my insurance company which were endorsed by my mortgage company and signed by both my mortgagee and myself. After the deposit, the checks were rejected because the mortgage company's name is not on my account (no kidding). So instead of giving me the checks (they still have them at the bank), they are going to wait 30 days and remail the checks to me, so I can then go back to the mortgage company to get them endorsed again. Horrible customer service! I've had multiple fraudulent charges to my account and nobody in Customer Service can give me a straight answer and are rude.
My wife and I have been Fifth Third customers for 34 years. We have always had exceptional service and have even made a few life-time friends along the way. But the customer service and management team at the Carmel branch is the best yet. We enjoy going there because everyone is so friendly and engaging. Our Preferred Relationship Manager, Yanina Yataco, is beyond exceptional. She is amazing. Very knowledgeable and helpful. We hope she stays at this branch forever.
Absolutely terrible experience attempting to get a banking error resolved and our loan moving forward again. This has gone on for MONTHS. Highly do not recommend using 5th 3rd for any type of loan or banking.
