I'm 60 years old and this is the very first review I've ever left for any company. Have ask for a simple review of the rate for my money market and have first been given a condescending lecture from the manager then I tried emailing through the 53 website and have been ignored. Just pathetic customer service. Will be switching banks as soon as I find a better one, which shouldn't be hard.
A fifth third customer my entire life. Pretty good customer care. Pop into Springboro Branch today to cancel a $700 car loan that is on autopay. Younger fella with glasses looked at me like I was an idiot. The teller next to him senses my irritation and asks, is he simply trying to stop an auto draft. My check cleared 8/1/2023 at 1:15am which paid all of my overdraft fees. At 6:00am 8/1/2023 i was charged additional overdraft fee of $148.00 Why? I went into the bank an was initially told I'd receive the $148.00 back into my buisness account. I asked if it could be done now, the rep asked his manager who said No an that it would not be reversed. The rep didn't have a answer as to why nor did the manager.
