A fifth third customer my entire life. Pretty good customer care. Pop into Springboro Branch today to cancel a $700 car loan that is on autopay. Younger fella with glasses looked at me like I was an idiot. The teller next to him senses my irritation and asks, is he simply trying to stop an auto draft. My check cleared 8/1/2023 at 1:15am which paid all of my overdraft fees. At 6:00am 8/1/2023 i was charged additional overdraft fee of $148.00 Why? I went into the bank an was initially told I'd receive the $148.00 back into my buisness account. I asked if it could be done now, the rep asked his manager who said No an that it would not be reversed. The rep didn't have a answer as to why nor did the manager. Go to a different location. Women at the counter are very nice. Jason, the banker - not so much. It also seems like the women are afraid of him.
