So, after years of banking with Fifth Third, both personally and for business, I recently had the… let’s say ‘unique’ experience of dealing with their general manager. Picture an old grump who seems to think customer service means guarding the vault like it’s Fort Knox and making sure no one leaves happy. I called today because I lost my debit card this morning and needed to withdraw some cash in person. I was pretty sure it wouldn't be a problem but I never assume about anything these days. I didn't catch the name of the guy who answered but he was pleasant and reassured me they're open until 6. It's Friday afternoon and this will be my first time at this branch because it's what side of town I'm on today. I had an appointment today at 1:30pm the person we had an appointment with the branch manager, we arrived at 1:30 and she wasn’t there. The representative behind the counter was rude and our time was wasted. Everytime I come 53 it’s a problem.
