This bank sure knows how to use other people’s money by giving away access to your account to people that shouldn’t have access!! They just let them draw and give away your new atm card to anyone . This bank also puts people mail in jeopardy by putting full account numbers on your statements sent to your home and one of my envelopes were opened, not by me . . I wanted to withdrawal cash from my account under 10K and was told they did not have that much on hand and I would have to travel 8 miles to another branch or pay my contractor with a cashiers check. The snobby girl charged me $10.00 for the cashiers check and put a hold on it. When I got upset, I started to tell her it is not her that I am upset with, she interrupted me explaining there were many businesses that withdrew large amounts of money and they didn't have my money on hand. Horrible experience. Walked in to apply for a loan at 2PM Monday and was told I couldn’t be seen that day. After mentioning my intention to go to another bank, I was offered an appointment at 3PM that same day. Came back at for my appointment at 3 only to be told I had to wait even longer. I was looked in the eyes a total of 4 times between 3 bank reps. The promotional offer that they had was very exciting. Therefore, we decided to try it out since we were planning to switch to another bank that is closer to us. However, the lady that assisted us to open an account was not enthusiastic by any means. She was very short and dry when speaking to us. I think she is in the wrong position for fifth third bank to prosper. I think it would help her if she was to be reminded that customers are the life blood of the business.
