Their mobile check deposit takes more than a week to make the funds actually available to use in your account, it’s inconvenient if you were relying on being able to use that money. My second time interacting with them has also been dissatisfying. They are disorganized. They remind me very much of the phenomenon of bloated corporations that don’t have streamlined workflows. Fidelity investment management, advisers are the worst people in the world to deal with. You cannot obtain a 401 k tax form, cash out your 401 k without donating your left kidney and reapplying for u.s. citizenship. What a nightmare to try to get my tax form sent in the mail. It would be easier for me to meet with Kim Jong un than try to talk to 5 different people at fidelity and answer a hundred security questions to get my tax form.
