BEWARE!!! Unless you are financially savvy and have already met with a tax advisor, I would avoid Fidelity for financial planning completely. They are in it for commissions without regards to their clients tax consequences in the near or distant future. I received highly unsuitable advice that led to months of stress and a huge tax bill. I subsequently filed a complaint with FINRA since their local and executive office were apathetic to the circumstances surrounding the situation.

Long time Fidelity customer here. I went into the office to get my statements signed and stamped, which is a requirement of the Mexican government for people applying for residency. Associates refused to sign, stamp, OR even notarize (including the notary), statements I already had in my hand. Gave me a half dozen “reasons” why not, that all contradicted each other. If you plan on using your Fidelity accounts to qualify for Mexican residency, go somewhere else. I’m told Schwab is helpful.

Great place to invest your money
