Connor Whitcomb is absolutely amazing. I have dealt with a number of brokerages over the years and have found them lacking. Not so with Fidelity Investments in Bethesda. Excellent service at the Fidelity Bethesda office. Catherine Blyden deserves mention among the great team of junior and senior professionals, all very helpful.
I visited the Bethesda Fidelity location in order to make a deposit into a newly opened account, having the check in hand for a UTMA account. The representative was very pleasant and understood quickly; she deposited the check and gave me a receipt. While I was awaiting the receipt, I heard another rep very patiently talking to a customer who wanted to cash out some funds. It was explained to him that Fidelity wasn't a bank with cash on hand, and she gave him a number of ways he could get his money in cash. She did not get i... read more
While the overall experience of my mother and me in dealing with Fidelity has been pretty awful to say the least, I did want to compliment one employee, Mr. Nayo Ayegbajeje, who tried very hard to make up for the poor service and knowledge of his colleagues at both local offices and the Transition Team. The Bethesda office did not return my messages nor was there an email address.
