Went in to do something fairly quick. It was busy and was asked to wait for someone to help. Waited 45+ minutes until I finally noticed people who came in after I did were being helped. Turns out they never properly entered me in the queue. My issue was resolved fairly quickly after I finally got someone to help, but the person whose job it is to manage the queue should be more observant and proactive.
You might as well not have an account with Fidelity Investments, if you can only use their services for depositing money/transferring money in. If you need a Medallion Signature Guarantee to transfer funds out, you are out of luck; even with an account in good standing for over 10-yrs.
I have been customer with Fidelity for over 30 years, and fidelity customer service is going down, customer service at the worst. I am trying to login for last 9 days. They have added a new requirement when you login you need an OTP which you receive on your phone message. for last 9 days I am trying to get this problem fixed, unsuccessfully!!! Burlington branch, my advising team and national 800 number, none is able to help after spending at least 3-4 hours and many calls.
Please do not buy an annuity from them because they don't give you the full details on the fastest route for a monthly payment. I made the terrible mistake in May of 2018 of buying an annuity from them. It's with mass mutual. I chose direct deposit which is not the fastest way to receive the monthly payment. Payment date I chose is the 14th, but the money doesn't go into my account until the 18th. I have a money market account with Fidelity too and online, withdraws using the debit card show up 2 or 3 times in a month. It's ... read more
