June.13.2024: waited 25+ minutes to get horrible service from the branch no help with any questions I had, awful service, poor experience at best, not knowledgeable/helpful people from my experience, very sad. All branches forward you to regional call centers, and when you do get a hold of someone its a "what do you want type of attitude"", complete turn off, I will not be seeking employment with this company or services any longer.
If you want to invest with a company that's going to "misplace" your funds and then give you corporate generic replies when trying to rectify the situation this is the investment firm for you.
I can't tell you how many times I have called during this pandemic and they were closed. Finally, opened and I was so excited. The guy i spoke with said he would have someone call me back 10 minutes. That was a week ago.
I have been in the Hilton Head office on several occasions and have always found the staff there to be very knowledgeable and helpful. If you call them you go into Fidelity's main line and there is usually a hefty wait to get a live person. However, you can leave your phone number and wait for a call back rather than hang on for 15 minutes or more. I have been with Fidelity for many many years and think that are great to work with.
