Nothing against the wolf road office, but fidelity as a company is living in the dark ages. even their telephone wait music hasn't been updated in 30 years. I'm recently retired from the business and occasionally used their 529 plans and other things for many years so I'm familiar with their wait times and the music. Now I wanted to open an account for one of their funds that I like and cash management liquid options. Problems with the account so I had to call in and WAIT. Going to Vanguard instead.

My father-in-law had his retirement account transferred by his ex-employer to Fidelity from another financial services company. It was a somewhat complex situation. We went into the Albany office and, although it took two hours, Lilien was very helpful and did everything that she could to help resolve the situation. Dealing with Fidelity can be complicated, but so far I have had only positive interactions with this local office.

If you submit documentation here, make sure you follow up with the agents in the back office as this branch will cause an issue with your account.

They have horrible customer service. I have been using the account from past 20 years. They don't even respond to my secure messages. They really sucks.
