Beautiful quiet retreat in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Chris and Jane could not do enough to make my stay amazing
Als je lekker wilt genieten en even wilt afschakelen is dit een geweldige plek!! Je kan genieten van een heerlijk uitzicht en de dieren zorgen voor een heerlijk vermaak. De gastvrijheid van Jane, Chris en Hazel is subliem en ze doen er alles aan om je verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. We raden ook aan gebruik te maken van de BBQ-service van n ontbijt van Jane. Daar zal je zeker van smullen.
Beautiful location with a rich history. Closed on the day I went, definitely planning to return when they're open.
Lovely attention to detail, hosts have thought of everything. Jane and Chris so welcoming, always on hand if needed. The tea room is fabulous too!
Review forstaying in Hicks Hut: This wonderful and friendly host was in contact with us from start to finish and provided us with a perfect stay and everything we needed. It's not often that you will find a shepherds hut at this price that doesn't charge you extra for fire wood or randomly runs out of electricity because the solar panel is the size of a dinner plate. Theres even a toilet and proper shower inside so you dont have to run out in the cold in your pjs to use the facilities. The hut is made wonderfully warm with o... read more
