Stopped to get tacos and decided to get coffee on a whim. Matt was very kind and shared that his wife Lisa made their Madagascar vanilla bean sauce*(?) homemade and local coffee beans info. Made me a delicious iced vanilla latte (no sweetener needed), looked good enough where the rest of my group got one too and enjoyed it.
I was excited about buying the coffee, having it fresh roasted and sent to me. In the end this was the most expensive coffee I’ve bought, even with the offer of a fifth free bag with purchase of 4 bags. What they served me in the stand seemed decent, and I bought so much to give as gifts. This is some of the worst tasting coffee I’ve ever brewed. The owner took as much time (and coffee) to make sure we had a memorable experience even if we didn’t buy anything (we did, of course). He was super nice and informative; the sample coffee bold and tasty. A definite revisit when we return. It’s not only the product quality, but the overall experience, including the personal touch that matters!
Great marketplace! I’ve met the lady working there and she’s very nice.
I really liked the macadamia blended coffee. One of the first markets we visited during our trip. Can't wait to visit again.
