Found this gem of a store while in the area for a good friend’s wedding. My daughter has eczema and both my daughters have sensitive skin. The whipped shea butter has done wonders for both their skin! Lovely store and such friendly staff. Will be visiting again if in the area.
If you’re visiting Grantsville, it’s always nice to take a trip to the Spruce Forest Artisan Village and no visit would be complete without stopping in at the whimsical little soap shop beside the old bridge. We have been buying from Fernwood Soaps for many years! Why? The soaps are wonderful! Gentle on my sensitive skin! It’s the only bar soaps we will buy! The essential oils are fragrant, but not overpowering! The new owner is dedicated to keeping the quality of Fernwood soap’s high!!! He was so easy to talk too, his passion for his work was very obvious! Make sure this store one of your stops!
Love their soaps (especially the spearmint, charcoal, and eucalyptus)! I also use "The Answer" creme and their beard balm daily. The all natural lip balm is also great! And we make sure we are always stocked up with their natural "Bug Out" spray and balm. I wish I could go to the store in Grantsville MD, but my orders online always ship quickly.
