So Pretty! Doesn’t matter what time of the year you stop at the gardens, they’re always beautiful! We celebrated our son’s (& new daughter-in-law) wedding there, and it was fabulous!

Hidden Gem of Youngstown! This is the most beautiful “secret garden” of Youngstown! Great for a casual stroll and sight seeing or perfect for an event! If you are looking for a perfect place to take lots of unique photos this place is the perfect opportunity!

Youngstown Beauty What a pleasure it was visiting the Fellows Riverside Garden. Back in town for a high school reunion, my cousin took us on a special tour of Mill Creek Park. Fellows Riverside Gardens was our first stop. Had a reputation as the spot for senior high school and wedding photos. The gardens are still absolutely beautiful. Well-maintained and very relaxing on a hot August day. Well-appointed visitor center with a gift shop. Happy to see it as an active learning spot.

Sunday Afternoon Another great stop in Youngstown. Beautiful gardens to walk through. The center had a small art showing going on. The was a wedding in one of the pavilions. The plants and flowers were beautiful and well-kept. A must stop.

Stunning vews follow a delicious lunch. We had an absolutely delicious lunch in Kravitz's Garden Cafe located in the Davis Visitors Center. The hot pastrami sandwich on rye is, in my opinion, the best pastrami sandwich is Ohio. The Davis Center also contains a gift ship that is worth checking out. It has many seasonal decorative and household items at exceptionally reasonable prices. The gardens were far beyond my expectations. All of the gardens are well tended and the superbly designed for the topography on the land. The views of Glacier Lake from the garden is truly spectacular. I also enjoyed seeing the variety of container plantings, with some of them being truly unique. The formal gardens contain a great mix of annual and prennial plantings and the scenic vistas were a major surprise because of the gardens location. I believe the gardens are a part of Mill Creek Park, a large and scenic park very close to the center of the city. The part is also worth exploring.

Mill Creek Park - Rose Garden Beautiful place. Very serene and peaceful. Take your time walking through the gardens. Check out the lakes, maybe go for a canoe or boat ride while you are there. Take a drive through the park and have a picnic!

The Gardens are part of Mill Creek Park The Gardens are part of Mill Creek Park and you can take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the beautiful flowers. Unfortunately, it was drizzling and we had to rush through. Would be nice on a sunny day.
