Weekly Visits to the Gardens It is so beautiful to visit the Gardens each week as you see the moving changes of the plants and their stunning changes. The silent growth with their individual color pallets displaying unimaginable beauty that simply sparks your own creative imagination. You will want to visit it each week.

Cold late winter walk The sheer natural beauty and fabulous views from every corner of this gorgeous park make it one of our favorite places to go year round. Bundle up and bring extra layers to add/remove as you walk or hike thru the magnitude of spectacular displays of nature here. Also bring water for drinking as the fountains are turned off in the cold months. The picture posted here was taken in late July. A beautiful male monarch paused to nectar on the zinnia right in from of me!

Wedding Photos We came here for our wedding photos and it was beautiful! Mid October weather tends to be a bit cold but that day was gorgeous. Only downside was that the building closed early so no one could use the facilities. Extremely busy this day also.

Beautiful gardens A great place to spend the afternoon. The flowers are beautiful, and there are hiking paths. There is also a restaurant there with catered lunches.

Relaxing One of the best places to go and just relax. It’s just beautiful there. You can walk around all you want, or just relax on a bench and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful when things are in bloom This is really a part of Mill Creek Park which is an overall hidden gem of Youngstown. The gardens are well tended by local clubs as well as the staff and present a great stroll or leisurely lunch. Be sure to allow time for lunch in the café but check out their limited and seasonal hours. Other than that, you can stroll anywhere and have things to see. Of course late spring is the top visiting time as everything is in bloom. There are other amazing gardens around the world but this one is right in Youngstown, Ohio.
